Ask an Astronomer postponed :(

Hi all,

Unfortunately I’ve had to postpone the Ask an Astronomer event that was scheduled for this Tuesday. I don’t have a new date yet, but hope to have one soon. Also, we should be able to offer a cheaper rate and still cover food/ etc. in the future, so stay tuned!

But if you are looking for astro-related events, consider coming camping with me at Driftless Days at White Oak Savanna in Dodgeville, Wisconsin on May 2-3. We’ll be stargazing both Friday and Saturday night* under the much darker skies there, and I’ll give an astro talk on Saturday night. There will also be wine tasting, art viewing, nature walks, live music and music jams (bring an instrument if you’d like!) - I’m really looking forward to it, and would love to see you there!

*Stargazing is of course weather dependent - if the weather ends up being too cloudy, we’ll have other fun astro-related programming!
